Craftastic Afternoon     ages 6-12​
Please join us for a fun monthly craft for children ages 6-12. Registration is required. First Thursdays at 4 p.m.

Hillerman Stitch Club    adults
A drop-in stitching club for good times, good conversation and helpful knitting hints. Bring your projects to share to our weekly meeting.

Lego Adventures    ages 5 and up
Leave your Legos at home and come play with ours, on the first Saturday of the month. If you can dream it, you can build it. Beginners welcome!

Master Gardeners    all ages
The Albuquerque Area Extension Master Gardeners will visit the library twice a month during the growing season to answer your questions about gardening in Albuquerque.  The Master Gardener hotline is available every day from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm: 292-7144 or 243-1386.

Music & Movement Storytime    families
These storytimes are a fun way to develop early literacy skills in young children with music, dancing, singing, stories and exploration of simple musical concepts. Music & Movement Storytime is appropriate for ages 0 - 6.

Origami Adventures    ages 5 and up
Each month learn to create several different folded paper designs, on the second Saturday of the month. Beginners welcome.

Poetry Around the World    ages 10 and up
In this writing class we explore a different style of poetry from around the world each month. If you think poetry is dull and boring, give us a chance to change your mind.

Preschool Storytime    families
Join in the fun with stories, songs, puppets and more that encourage development of early literacy skills in young children, using the guidelines from the Every Child Ready to Read program. Weekly Preschool Storytime targeted for ages 3 - 5.

Read to the Dogs    children
Reading to appreciative and non-judgmental furry friends helps to increase kids' confidence and joy of reading. Weekly on Wednesdays, see more information about Read to the Dogs.

Sensory Friendly Hour   all ages
Join us for a special browsing hour for individuals on the autism spectrum and for anyone who appreciates a sensory friendly environment. Program details and schedule here.

Steampunk Crafts    ages 12 and up
Join us for crafts inspired by the neo-Victorian sci-fi genre called Steampunk. Registration is required for this every other month program.

Baby and Toddler Storytime    families
Enjoy an interactive storytime with your child that includes early literacy fun with books, songs, fingerplays and body movement. Weekly Baby and Toddler Storytime is targeted for ages 0 - 3.

Book Club    adults
The Lomas Tramway Book Club meets monthly. New members are always welcome. See our selections for the year.

Computer Classes    adults
One-on-one classes focus on basic computer skills. Registration required. See more information about computer classes.

Family Craft    families

Much Ado About Knitting    adults
Our friendly group of intrepid knitters encompasses beginners through experts.  Some of us knit along together on group-chosen projects, and others work on personal projects--but we all enjoy camaraderie, new ideas, helping each other, and having fun!  Come see what all the "Ado" is about!
